Trail Condition: Good
Hiked July 29th 2024 in the afternoon. Pine ridge trail out off Pfeiffer Big Sur state park down to ventana camp completely clear. 2 backpackers and 2 day hikers passed along trail.
Otherwise very low usage. Found a VWA white helmet and a pair of men’s khaki pants down at ventana camp- left them there in case owner wants to come back for them. No litter or trash found, with the exception of one area with shitty toilet paper.
Come on folks. Campsites in good condition. No campers down at ventana camp.
Swimming holes are deep enough for a dip! Thank you Big Sur trail reports!
